So I would not say I've "gone green" but Disney's push has made me much more aware of things and made it easy to switch some habits that have benefited me (and the environment) I have really liked the reusable grocery bags (that were free courtesy of a group that left a ton) as I'm not overrun anymore with the plastic (since my Mart seems to bag *everything* separately) and not buying individual bottled water/soda (more financial than anything but it counts!) so its small steps...

and apparently the shirt is organic cotton but Im not that dedicated- I just got it cause it was on sale for 4 bucks and I liked the color..

Tonight between work and pin trading night I stopped by the lodge via the boat. While waiting to board a little girl stopped pointed in the water and asked very loudly "did someone die?!?" as she pointed in the water at the buoy.. Apparently some ones family watches a bit to much CSI... but it did give everyone on the dock a really good laugh...

The wrap that some of the busses and the monorails are starting to sport- Kinda kewl but kinda late if its going to just be there till Dec..

So I splurged today and bought HSM 3 (Figured I needed to support the family ;)) and I do have to say it wasn't my favorite HSM (That'd be #1) but it was still fun to watch. It was just 2 days ago I finally saw the HSM 3 Show at Studios so I think I'm finally caught up with the empire :)

So today I noticed the "new" pin pricing guide has hit everywhere (pins now have a color on the back and you match color to price..) which I have no idea why it went global when it failed everywhere... Anyway it was depressing to realize most pins jumped up 2 bucks a pin so what used to be 8.95 are now 10.95 etc.. The worst was now the basic pins are in 2 price points and there doesnt seem to be a reason why some are 6.95 and others 8.95...

Its one thing to raise prices its another to do it by 2 bucks... I think my days of buying pins off the racks are pretty much over :(

So I know Im cutting it close but I just got home from the Studios (where for the 2nd time ever I got to ride Toy Story but thats a nother story) alas Happy Presidents Day- Ive found that I do better with dead time at work if I have something to think about/memorize and I had run out of useful things and decided that the presidents of the US sounded like a good goal... So for the last two weeks or so its been my challenge and Im proud to say I now can get all 44 presidents named- order is still another battle but Im now at about 75% accurate...

Okay I knew Pop Century had a bunch of Disney characters but I had never heard about the massive can of Playdoh!! How cool! I wanted to go take pictures and didnt want to go to a park and decided on Pop as I had never spent more than 10 min there...

So I went today to the Jim Henson Exhibit at the Orlando History Center and enjoyed it (though disliked that photos inside were not allowed...) but I did have to laugh that they had 3 cases of memorabilia outside and I HAD those plush.. Im pretty sure they came from McDonalds in 88 or 89... I always find it crazy when stuff I had/have is on display places...

and if you are wondering- I justified this because a) if we sell the merch and have the attraction it counts ;) and b) I think Disney owns part of the Muppets...

So today I hit the Studios to see Idol and while the show was a bit more entertaining than I thought I was not impressed overall especially with the extreme rudeness of several of the CMs, to the point I wish I had gotten names because I would've reported them to Guest Relations... I honestly doubt Ill go back (course in all honesty I didn't think it'd be a repeater anyway..)

So today was the coldest day in over 14 years.. and I know its not the 0 degree temps others have but mid 20s with a 15 degree windchill is COLD! This is the Sorcerer Mickey topiary all wrapped up to stay warm (along with most other plants on property...)

So I wanted to go to the zoo but didn't want to drive all the way out to Tampa, and needed to hit some Scrap Stores in Lakeland. So by the time I got back to property it was too late to hit DAK so I hit the Lodge instead... Traded some pins, ate some Zebra Domes and had a decent time (though wish it was about 10 degrees warmer!)

Just wanted to show off a few of my pins... (I'm pretty sure I could get 365 pin pictures without too much work...) Minnie dressed as________ has slowly become my 2nd largest theme... 2 of my most favorite pins call this theme home (Minnie Dressed as Lilo in the top center and Ski Utah Minnie in the bottom center)
