Never noticed before

a little bit of Utah at Walt Disney World

New 'bling'

and the celebratory Tie Dye Cheesecake :)

Earning a 'Tiara'

Awesome surprise outside the 'temp. Never had my own 'Go me' posters before :) The other one had Toby Tyler on it (will photograph that one tomorrow- yes I stole them!)

Almost half way there!

Best photo op of the race.. But the line was massive so I didn't wait.. Yes the song 'It's raining men' played in the background...

DONE!

Is it time to run yet?!?

I have the bib, the pins and the mini tiara..

Only 13.1 miles till I earn the 'tiara'

Impressed

That they held 100 spots open for Princess runners- Heard those were 99% gone by the first day :)

Guess lots of runners want this pretty medal- The coast to coast one (Wish they would've had the 2012 DLR medal on display too..)

As the sun sets..

and I miss my DSLR (well more exactly the regular lens) and want it back from Nikon- The little one just doesn't do night shots well..

What if I've wished more than that?!?

50 years...

Went to Kennedy for the 'On the Shoulders of Giants' presentation celebrating 50 years of Orbital Flight with the 2 remaining Mercury 7 Astronauts John Glenn and Scott Carpenter.

One of the earlier presentations was Cal Fowler who was a Launch Ops Manager for the Atlas rockets- He was joined by the Current Launch Ops Manager who talked about the current use of the Atlas rockets

The Mercury 7- Carpenter, Grissom, Glenn, Shirra, Shepard and Slayton

Was walking by when Glenn (and entourage)arrived and entered into a private event. I ended up oh 3-4 feet away...

Scott Carpenter- Mercury 4 (Aurora 7)

John Glenn- Mercury 3 (Friendship 7) and STS 95

Cal Fowler- Launch Ops Mgr

California Grill

Hadn't been there since 2001 so was interested to try it again.. (Long story on how it was a compromise but anyway..) Overall it was good.

Food was amazing- The service started out great but was miserable by the end...

All in all not my kind of dining but it worked as a belated Valentine's Day dinner (since work schedules prevented it earlier...)

A Morning Rainbow

Never saw one before and it was a gorgeous sight..

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom

Tried the new 'Attraction' at the MK which is similar to Kim Possible but overall better.. After 'checking in' to the Firehouse I received a map, a Key Card and 5 'Spell Cards' with instructions my mission would start in Liberty Square.

I like that the Key Card keeps track of what missions I've done and am told it will activate 'harder' missions eventually once I pass the 'easy' ones... I also really liked that unlike KP I didn't feel rushed to complete the missions as the cards are mine to keep (unlike the phone) so took my time.

While the whole mixing of characters into 1 story line is a tad odd they are well done and for the most part blend in (though they are kinda loud so it noticeable when people are playing)

Overall I like it and will spend more time trying the different lands missions..

A Party for some..

Great day for the NFL Vinyls to show up...

Eli Manning (Superbowl MVP)

Lots of Red White & Blue
