Meeting Mickey

One of the things on my to do list was check out the new meet n greet with Mickey. Arrived and got a FP as the wait time was 30 min (FP return was 40 min later..)

But when I came back- Ended up not needing a FP at all (Princess wait was 10 min)

Have to give credit for how well done the area was

Lots of queue for the non-existent crowds- though the greeters were very pro crowd control despite the NO crowds- to the point it was a huge negative to the experience (If there are 5 of TOTAL in line we don't need to stand 3 across in a tight line to accommodate the space behind us..)

Then of course we exited into a HUGE gift shop- Though it was very well done

Pirates!

Hit the MK today for several reasons but one was to check out the Blackbeard promo for Pirates

Apparently going left when everyone went right worked- I had my own boat

Says the same thing as Davy and if I wasn't mistaken in the same voice... Ehh

Now I think I should be scared but that means absolutely nothing to me... :)

Sci Fi

Surprised to get in without a reservation during Star Wars Weekends but it was pretty good food

Star Tours 2.0

Didn't think We'd be patient enough to wait in line but since it was just a 30 min standby...



But I think its the first time I'd ever been in the extended queue

Overall I'd give it an 8 of 10 for a rehab.. Most pieces looked good (though they could've replaced the safety belts they were ratty)

and the voyage we had was IMO very reminiscent of Mission Space at times...

but I see it as a positive re-addition to the Studios..

The Dark Side

So I headed to the Studios for Star Wars Weekends

As while I dislike the movies I find the whole thing fun :)



And since I apparently missed the end of the world- guess there was no need to stockpile the weapons...
