If I understood Star Trek

I'd have appreciated Sci Fi Summer a LOT more

It was neat seeing the Trek exhibits and they were very well done

but having only seen very few minutes of Trek in my life.. I didn't "get" it

It's so hard to fathom

That in less than 3 weeks the countdown clock will light for the last time

As Atlantis makes her last voyage

and marks the end of the Shuttle program, and manned space flight for the foreseeable future...

So we had this prop yesterday for a big Mickey themed party... It was cool from a distance

But even cooler up close.. Not sure what it's history was but neat to see...

and a neat idea- The gift shop in the American Pavilion is selling all the candy bars and novelty candy of yester year... Probably over 100 choices ranging from 50 cents to 5 bucks so not too bad...
