Happy Birthday Fantasmic!
Disneyland's Fantasmic is hands down my favorite thing at ANY of the theme parks (WDWs is another story..) and I generally create it with the beginning of my Disney obsession (which means I've been a fan for about 16 years now- scary!)
Sitting waiting as the sun goes down along Rivers of America with a few Banyan Beef skewers from Bengal BBQ is a beautiful thing.

Of course, then there was the time during the 50th that we were so tired that we fell asleep on each other during it!! :)
I think you're right though about Fantasmic! starting the Disney obsession. I remember seeing it for the first time & I don't think my mouth closed during the entire thing!
