The truly dedicated

Due to being warned of "massive delays" I left decently early for work. Only to encounter very few delays so was able to watch the 'elite' to 'impressivly fast' runners pass by the 'temp on their way to mile 10 (of 26.2)and the Magic Kingdom...

I'm crazy for doing 13.1 these guys win for doing at minimum 26.2 but quite a few were goofy runners (39.3 which was the 1/2 yesterday and the full today!)

Final Stop... Magic Kingdom

I think I stayed awake though the Tiki Room.. Not quite sure :)

Celebratory Breakfast

After the race I was treated to breakfast at Boma- I had a great time and the food was really good. We were surprised with the dessert tray

It's a race! It's a race!

Had to be at Epcot no later than 4:15 which meant for an early morning...

almost go time!

For DLR it was seeing the monorail barn- for WDW getting this close to the train was the highlight

Daylight!

Due an unknown reason my times didnt hit Facebook but offical chip time was 2:53 which makes it 3.5 min behind my PR (sigh) or 15,321st place

The past few days...

Technology has not been my friend with internet issues and phone issues but hopefully all will be healed by tomorrow afternoon- So bear with me with LOTS of updates today :)

Another year

Where did 2011 go? I think I lost track of it in April... Alas I should have some philosophical thought but the caffeine hasn't kicked in yet so once again thank you to everyone reading this for humoring me and letting me share my view of the world with everyone. Looking at the year upon year post counts I wish I had posted more but life got away from me- so much so I have no countdown of favorite pictures of the year but a quick review of 2011

I'm still there- For better or worse...

I still collect shiny things

and even shinier things that cost a lot more (and I have to work harder to get)

But plastic things have started to invade
(though I take no responsibility for this collection)

I was able to have lots of 'adventures'-

From having family come and visit

to going to visit them

and heading "home" for a few days (which should hopefully happen again this year)

to watching the shuttle program come to an end and multiple visits to Kennedy Space Center (and seeing Endeavour up close)

so overall not much has changed- and 'rail silver once again had to get the last laugh in as the last picture of the year...
